“WINTERTIDE Composer Toolkit is a collection of bespoke recordings of various instruments including myself on violin, bottles, wine glass, and piano, my brother, Charlie, on electric guitar, my mom, Robin, on electric bass, and my dad, Jason, on acoustic guitar. The patches include a wide range of techniques, from shorts to longs, to warped and processed sounds I like to call “warped oddities.” This library includes a GUI with a reverb knob and the ability to tailor ADSR to your preference. For the first time in a long while, my family and I played music together during the recording sessions on this project. When I think back on past holiday memories, they are filled with togetherness, family, and above all else, music. I wanted to share that nostalgia with you all in the hopes that it might inspire you to write something special for a loved one. After all, music is the greatest gift one can receive.”
